Universal Accounting Center Tax Course Approved by Oregon |
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (October 18, 2005) - The Universal Accounting Center's Professional Tax Preparer program has received approval from the state of Oregon as a qualified training program for individuals wishing to prepare income taxes. Universal Accounting received approval from Oregon's State Board of Tax Practitioners. Oregon is one of two states requiring state-approved tax courses for tax preparers.
Universal Accounting's course trains individuals in tax preparation for individual and small business taxes. Oregon has approved 48 hours of the program as Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. The Professional Tax Preparer program is taught through the school's patented home-study course, allowing students to learn at their own pace. Students receive year-long support from UAC tax professionals.
