Universal Accounting Center Tax Course Approved by Oregon

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (December 4, 2006) — Universal Accounting Center's Professional Tax Preparer program has received approval from the state of Oregon as a qualifying training program for individuals wishing to prepare income taxes. Universal Accounting Center received approval from Oregon's State Board of Tax Practitioners. Oregon is one of two states requiring state approved tax courses for tax preparers.

The Professional Tax Preparer course trains individuals in tax preparation for individual and small business taxes. Oregon has approved 88 hours of the program as Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. The Professional Tax Preparer program is taught through the schools patented home study course, allowing students to learn at their own pace. Students receive year long support from UAC tax professionals.
